Breast screening
Breast screening information.
Breast screening is a three-yearly x-ray test for breast cancer. For most women all that is needed is one or two x-ray’s of each breast to confirm that all is well. One out of ten women need to come back for the second stage and again, most women will find that all is well. It is known that if breast cancer is found at an early stage, treatment has the best chance of being successful.
