Parking
Relatives and visitors are welcome to use the hospital car park opposite the main entrance.
Spaces are limited and we would ask you not to bring your own car to the hospital for the duration of your stay. You may drop patients at the main entrance but please do not park there as this causes an obstruction to ambulances and the disabled.
Please do not leave any items lying visible in your car and ensure that your car is well secured.
Disabled Parking
There are several disabled parking facilities close to the hospital entrance.
If you require assistance we provide a valet parking service.
To use this service, drive into the ambulance bay at the Accident and Emergency Department where there is a signposted telephone on the right hand side, which allows you to speak to the porters.
The porters will allow you adequate time to leave your vehicle and will then drive it to the main hospital car park. When you are ready to leave the hospital, return to the portering department within the Accident & Emergency Department where arrangements will be made for a porter to collect your vehicle.
NHS Ayrshire & Arran has comprehensive insurance cover in respect of this service.
